Craftsmanship

Step 1 - Material Selection

JessieWoolArt uses only the finest quality wool, eco-friendly fibers, and durable embroidery threads to ensure each product is soft to the touch, long-lasting, and vibrant. The materials are carefully chosen for their ability to hold shape and provide texture that resembles real fur.

Step 2 - Design & Sculpting

Upon receiving the reference photo from the customer, JessieWoolArt creates a detailed design of the pet or item to be replicated. The sculpting begins by carefully molding the wool into the basic structure, focusing on key features such as the ears, nose, eyes, and overall proportions. This step ensures the general outline of the product mirrors the pet's unique characteristics.

Step 3 - Layered Felting

Using a combination of wet and dry felting techniques, layers of wool are gradually added to build the shape of the pet or item. Each layer is meticulously felted to achieve the desired texture and structure. This step may involve rolling, pressing, and shaping the wool with special needles to make sure the form is solid and firm, providing the perfect base for detailed work.

Step 4 - Facial Features & Embroidery

Once the primary structure is in place, JessieWoolArt focuses on bringing the pet’s or object’s personality to life by adding detailed facial features. Fine embroidery techniques are used to stitch realistic eyes, noses, and other facial features based on the reference photo provided by the customer. The colors are carefully selected to match the original pet’s or object’s appearance, ensuring every detail is captured accurately.

Step 5 - Assembly & Quality Control

After the sculpting and detailing process, the various components (head, body, limbs, etc.) are carefully assembled. A thorough quality control check is performed to ensure that every aspect of the product is precise, including stitching, color matching, and overall finishing. Any inconsistencies or imperfections are addressed before moving forward.
